P4/3 had their book launch on Wednesday 19th March.  Lots of mums, dads and friends came to the launch to hear us read our fantastic stories!  Primary 3 and Primary 5 dropped by to hear us read too!  We changed our classroom about and everyone stood behind their books and were asked questions about their stories.  It was fun being an authour and an illustrator.  We even had a fancy purple velvet chair with purple tinsel and read our stories using a microphone!   We put lots of effort into our castle books and it was really great to share our stories with everyone. 

Primary 3 have been learning lots about different food types. They now know all about carbohydrates, fruit and vegetables, proteins and dairy foods. They played games on the whiteboard.    

I think using the playstation is good because you can play buzz the school quiz. You get fun education and you can play other games like buzz the music quiz you can learn things about music. Buzz is fun and everyone likes it.

I think Pc’s are good in school because we need them to work. I also think PS2′S are good for like in buzz it will help you with all different subjects like maths, english and many more. And wii’s are good for in p.e. so that means that since on buzz you can’t do p.e. you can do it on the wii.

Green - Creativity 

We could do it in the hall with all the classes. We could use buzz for subjects like maths, language and science. The people who are on green lights get buzz. You can use buzz for everything except art or circle time. Two people use the controls at the same time. 

Yellow - Positive 

It’s good because it helps you learn more and it is fun and sometimes funny. I like buzz because every one likes it and it is fun. You can go against your friends. You do not need to put up your hand you just need to press the red button. Buzz is good for maths. You don’t have to put up your hand you can just push buttons. You learn a lot more. 

Red - Feelings 

I feel happy when I am playing buzz because it is funny and every one likes it. You can use buzz for everything except art or circle time. Buzz is fun because you learn new things. I feel happy with buzz but only eight people can play. It is fun to play with buzz it helps you learn. My feelings are that it is quite good and really fun. I think buzz is fun because it helps with your maths. It is brilliant and excellent. 

White - Facts 

Only eight people can play at one time. It’s good because you can choose more than one class. We sometimes play buzz at mathsBuzz is a good game. We got interviewed with buzz. Buzz has different coloured buttons on the controller and a big red button. 

Black - Negative 

It can sometimes crash and you can’t play the rest of the game! The bad thing about buzz is that you can only have eight players at one time. Sometimes can be annoying because the girl who tells you what to do. It is quite harsh because if someone gets the answer before you and then you are out of the pie game. There are only eight controllers.

The I.C.T Club has just started Today on 17th January. We are thinking of ideas to write on our blog. If you have any ideas please leave a comment and tell us. The I.C.T club is fun!

On Wednesday (3^rd October) Mr.Olyott, Me (Zoe), Jade, Emily and Rosina all went to the game event, which was in B’oness. We had to bring a snack because it finished at half six. When we got there is was raining heavily, we got signed in went through into the hall got all set up then the nursery woman came over and asked us if we would like to play her game most of us did apart from Emily. It was the eye toy - keep ups it was called. Then we went through to see how we got our game, then went back through to play on our game and I won! Then everyone came in and we had a try on they’re games then went home.

Following up to the last post, I can agree, it was a great evening.  The four class reps were excellent!  I think they had a great time too, well with dance mats and Wiis, it was hard not to!

Yesterday on Wednesday 3rd of October Mr O, Jad, Princess Z, RB and me all went to an ICT event. At first we all got ready and had a snack then we went for small talk. Then we showed teachers what we were doing, then we were allowed to have a wander and try out nintendo wii’s , dance mats etc. Then we had to go home it was great!
