Primary 2 done an assembly on the Friday 9th May all about germs. They all looked like they were enjoying themselves. They worked so hard for it  and done their best. Nearly all of their mum’s ,dad’s  ect, were there. At the end they all got a hudge cheer for their great assembly.  Well done primary 2!

Primary3 had an assembly on Friday the 14th of march.We have been learning about AncientGreece and the olympics. My part was Hercules and it was fun. A Soildier named peisiroodus enters the olympic games and he wins the games.  The songs were the olympic truce, the olympic torch and you’re a superstar.  My favourite part was when Anna siad ‘I love you Peisirodus you are so great.’

Primary 3 assembly was about ancient greece the time was 9.15am and the date was Friday 14 march. My part in the assembly was pisiroudus. The songs were the olympic truce the olympic torch and your a superstar. My mum, dad and aunty came to the assembly. We all had fun doing it my favourite part in the assembly was when we wrestled. My mum thought I was very good and my dad thought it was all good.  The people that helped were Mrs Buchanan, Mrs Arnott and Mrs Dawson.  After we had our assembly we had crisps and juice.

The Primary 5/6 class had a assembly on Friday 29th February.  children were allowed to invite their parents. The assembly was about different animals. They had lots of information about the different kinds of animals thay also had poems , quiz , singing and all the children did very well and all the parents enjoyed themselves.

Our assembly was about animals that are endangered and about our opinions on zoos. We told our audience lots of facts about different endangered animals and asked them to guess some animals of their own. We sang songs and used lots colourful posters. I enjoyed doing it and the audience enjoyed it too.

Last Friday P5/6 had an assembly. The assembly was about animals. We looked at Endangered Species, such as Snow Leopards, Tigers, Polar Bears, Turtles and Rhinos. We gave some advice on how we could help these animals.

We had a discussion on whether Zoos are good or bad. Some of us thought they were a good thing, some thought they weren’t.

We also had animal ‘Who am I?’ quizzes and a play. The play was called The Great Escape and was about animals trying to escape from a zoo.

As usual, our head teacher gave out awards and certficates for the Curriculum for Excellence. Our class received another rocket award for all our hard work!

The assembly was about a King and his family and some double glazing salesmen came to visit.  They gave the king some cloaks.  One of them was colourful, beautiful and shiny the other was dull, old and ragged.  When the King puts on the nice one it makes him become a mean man and the other one makes him nice. I liked standing on the stage and saying my lines.  I was a child and had to say “Poor King, why are you crying?” By Mhairi

The part I enjoyed most was singing the ‘He’s Mean’ song.I liked singing all the songs and dancing to them too!  The story taught us you don’t need to have everything to be happy.  Abby

My favourite part was when we danced to Mika.  I liked Cameron’s expression when he said WHAT!  My favourite part was when we sung the songs.  I liked Scott as the narrator.  By Ben

I liked it when the King threw the cloak off stage!  I thought the singing was good.  I liked the feast when Abbie and Liam went round with the lobster and duck!  By Neave

P5 are having an assembly on Friday 1^st February. It is going to be about a poet – Robert Burns. It will be in the hall at 9:30.  All welcome!

There will be Scottish songs, dances and poetry recitals… 

The nativity and concert performance are:

• Wednesday 12/12/07 at 7:00pm
• Thursday 13/12/07 at 1:30pm

Tickets are £1.50 and will be available from the school office from Friday 30/11/07 with a limit of 2 tickets for the first week.

Extra tickets may be able to be purchased on 10/12/07 and 11/12/07, if available.  Mince pies and coffee will be on sale by the PTA, as will Christmas stationery and a raffle.

Primary 7 Parents are warmly invited to join us for our St. Andrew’s Day Assembly on Friday 30/11/07 at 9:15am.  Our Primary 7 pupils have been working extremely hard on preparations for this event.  We hope you can come along.
