We will be having a Halloween disco on the 31st of October. The 1-3’s will be on at 6pm till 7.15 pm the big ones will be on at 7.30 till 9pm. We will be selling tickets for £1.50. We will be selling sweets and lots more. There will a disco playing all night. It will be great fun!

We are all on holiday this week :o)

Primary 6/7had a harvest assembly. We had it on the 5^th of October. We talked about fair-trade, other countries also the effect of weather. We did a play about rich and poor people and how we should share plus some poems. We sang some songs called Harvest time The harvest samba and the little ones helped us with What did you bring for harvest time .It was good.

At our harvest assembly we (P6/7) talked about FAIR TRADE and we done a play about poor people and rich people. We done a couple of poems as well. We sang three songs called Harvest time, Harvest samba and What did you bring for harvest time. And we done the affect of weather and what it destroys.

On Wednesday (3^rd October) Mr.Olyott, Me (Zoe), Jade, Emily and Rosina all went to the game event, which was in B’oness. We had to bring a snack because it finished at half six. When we got there is was raining heavily, we got signed in went through into the hall got all set up then the nursery woman came over and asked us if we would like to play her game most of us did apart from Emily. It was the eye toy - keep ups it was called. Then we went through to see how we got our game, then went back through to play on our game and I won! Then everyone came in and we had a try on they’re games then went home.

Following up to the last post, I can agree, it was a great evening.  The four class reps were excellent!  I think they had a great time too, well with dance mats and Wiis, it was hard not to!

Yesterday on Wednesday 3rd of October Mr O, Jad, Princess Z, RB and me all went to an ICT event. At first we all got ready and had a snack then we went for small talk. Then we showed teachers what we were doing, then we were allowed to have a wander and try out nintendo wii’s , dance mats etc. Then we had to go home it was great!

Some people had came in from a food lab. We were getting taught what gets put into our food . We got told that we shouldn’t have 2 packets of crisps in our lunch box and that we should have a nice healthy sandwich with lettuce or onions or something that is put in a healthy salad. After that we got a piece of card and we got to decide what we wanted to have on a sandwich. My group had put every thing in but lettuce. We had a pretty tasty sandwich. We got to see what got put in a mcdonalds burger. Which was 4 clumps of sugar and bird seeds etc!

We were learning about our body people got to go up and get a photo.  The skeletons name is Stan.

My new mate Stan is a skeleton. I met him in class, we were working on teeth and body parts. Every time we have science we go to have a look at his body parts. The first time we met I had to kiss Stan’s hand it was very gross, but every body in my class was laughing there head off including Mrs D who is a helper!
