Egg experiments

To see what would happen to our teeth when we drank different juices, we put eggs in cups full of different juices.  We used eggs because they are quite similar to teeth in how they are made.

This egg was left in diluting juice for 2 days it went bald, soggy and furry!  We put a dirty 2 pence coin in jucie too, it came out all shiney!

    We think the sugar in the juice started to dissolve the egg shell.
    Too much juice and sweets could do the same to our teeth.

    That is really cool and the egg looked mingin. I think are school should do that but we have done it about salt and sugar.
