we had a shot of the drum and we all got teached a dum beat and that was the last time with cameron (our music teacher ) we all had fun that time.

We have a drum group at our school - it is made up of a couple of Arabic (or middle eastern ) drums and some drums from the Pacific Islands (Samoa, Tonga, Fiji). Some of the drums are bongo drums, and some are quite tall so just the bigger kids play them.
Everyone loves drumming here. We even have drumming at special Assemblies - when the important guests walk in the drummers usually play as the people walk to their seats.

Are the boomwhackers the coloured sticks? Do you beat out rhythms or do you tap along to music?

yeah we hit them off the floor if we want a silint sound we hit them not hard if we want a hard sound we hit them hard off the floor!!!
